Altenew November 2024 Inspiration Challenge - Mistletoe Wreath

November 2024 Inspiration Challenge with Nicki Baxley | 2 Layered Poinsettia Holiday Cards

Hello, today I’m sharing a Christmas card created with these products from Altenew:

  • ·      Mistletoe Wreath Outline Stamp Set
  • ·      Mistletoe Wreath Die Set
  • ·      Mistletoe Wreath Simple Coloring Stencil Set
  • ·      Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder
  • ·      Altenew Fresh Dye Inks in Heart Beat, Golden Honeycomb, Sea Forest, Green Opal, Matcha Tea, and Crisp Dye Ink in Green Field

Other products:

  • ·      Ranger Gold Embossing Powder
  • ·      Red Cardstock

I started by stamping the wreath on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. cardstock with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink.  I used the Simple Coloring Stencil to color the wreath and the coordinating die to cut it out.

I stamped the banner on red cardstock with Versamark Watermark Ink and heat embossed it with the gold embossing powder.  Then I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

To create a textured background, I cut a piece of Neenah cardstock down to 4.125” x 5.375” and I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder.

To complete the card, I used a piece of A2 size red cardstock and adhered the embossed background to it.  I glued down the wreath with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and then I added the sentiment banner, adhering it with Simon Says Stamp Foam Squares.

That’s it for this simple card.  Thanks for stopping by!
