  Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card I created for Altenew's AECP Project - For the Guys! I used the following Altenew products to create this card: Mighty Corners Builder Stencil Altenew Fresh Dye Ink - Arctic Mountain Altenew Fresh Dye Ink - Industrial Diamond Altenew Arctic Mountain Cardstock Other Products Used: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb. Cardstock Memory Box Glossy Paper Pack - Black Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Dies Essentials by Ellen Ebony Black Cardstock Bearly Art Glue Geometric designs are great for masculine cards.  They offer clean and simple lines that can be used to create interesting backgrounds. I started with a 4 x 5.25" piece of Neenah cardstock.  I lined up the stencil so the large point was at 2.625" and held in place with some repositionable tape.  I used the Arctic Mountain Ink to ink blend the open area's on the stencil. Altenew Rose Reverie Birthday Card

Hello, today I'm sharing a birthday card I created with these products from Altenew: Rose Reverie Outline Stamp Set, Die and Simple Coloring Stencil Set Splendid Bouquet Stamp and Die Sets Trellis Stencil Blush Rose and Strawberry Fresh Dye Inks Moss, Olive and Bamboo Fresh Dye Inks Arctic Mountain, Winter Lake, Icy Water and Polar Bear Fresh Dye Inks Winter Lake Cardstock Northern Shore Enamel Dots I stamped the floral image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on an A2 size piece of Neenah Classic Crest 80lb. cardstock.  Using the coordinating stencil set, I ink blended the petals and leaves with the Fresh Dye Inks, concentrating the darker colors at the base of each petal and leaf, and blending out to the light colors. To add some additional dimension, I added shading with Prismacolor Pencils, mostly at the base of the petals and leaves.  For the petals I used Hot Pink and Deco Pink pencils.  For the leaves I used Moss Green.  Once I was happy with the floral image I die...

 Hello!  Today I'm sharing a cheerful card Altenew's Paint-A-Flower: Chamomile Clear Stamp Set. Products from Altenew used to create this card: Paint-A-Flower Chamomile Outline Stamp Set Sweet Jasmine Stamp and Die Sets Mix and Match Frames Die Set Dried Petals Enamel Dots Puffy Heart Cardstock Other Products: Copic Markers White Posca Pen Darice Double Sided Adhesive Foam Strips Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink I started by die cutting a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb. cardstock with the border and circles die from the Mix and Match Frames Dies Set.  This die works great with the tea cup image in the Paint-A-Flower: Chamomile Outline Stamp Set because there is consistency between the polka dots on the tea cup and the circles in the die.  I stamped the image in the center of the panel and colored it with Copic Markers: Y13, Y11, Y08, Y02 RV63, RV52, RV00, RV0000 YG05, YG03, YG01, YG00 B23, B12, B01, B00, B0000 C0, C00, Color...

Altenew: March 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Hello, today I'm sharing a very easy card I created for the Altenew March 2025 Inspiration Challenge. Altenew Products used for this card: Zero-Waste: Field of Flowers Stencils Fresh Dye Ink in Coral Bliss and Lemon Yellow Crisp Dye Ink in Shadow Creek and Green Fields Versatile Greetings 2 Die Set Lemon Yellow Cardstock Other products: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb. Cardstock Simon Says Stamp Matte Gold Cardstock Simon Says Stamp Vellum Spellbinders Gold Discs Using the Field of Flowers Stencil Set I ink blended the flowers and leaves with the Coral Bliss, Lemon Yellow, Shadow Creek and Green Fields inks on a piece of 6x6 Neenah cardstock.  I then cut the panel down to 4" x 5.25" and matted it on an A2 size piece of Lemon Yellow cardstock. I die cut the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the matte gold cardstock and the corresponding shadow from the vellum.  After gluing the sentiment onto the vellum, I used foam strips to adhere it onto my card.  Finally,...

Cardstock Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue Following the Layering Guide included with the stamp set, I stamped the floral bouquet with Morning Frost, Blush, Velvet, Misty Sage and Green Opal Fresh Dye Inks twice.  I also stamped the small branch that is included in the stamp set with Morning Frost a few times.  I die cut all of the images out and set them aside. Altenew February 2025 Inspiration Challenge

  Hello, Today, I'm sharing my card for Altenew's February 2025 Inspiration Challenge. Products used to create this card: Itty Bitty Flowers Die Set Piped Waffle Die Pocket Sentiments Stamp and Die Sets Fresh Dye Ink in Pool, Mystic Lake and Mocha Crisp Dye Ink in Vanilla Cream and Milk Chocolate Choco Hazelnut Enamel Dots Other Products: Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. Cardstock Blue-Green Cardstock Cream Cardstock I die cut the petals from the Itty Bitty Flowers Die Set using Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. cardstock.  I used Pool and Mystic Lake Fresh Dye Inks to add color to the petals and Vanilla Cream Crisp Dye Ink to ink up the flower centers.   The branch was also die cut from Neenah cardstock and then ink blended with Mocha Fresh Dye Ink.   Once I had all of the die cut pieces cut out, I used the layering guide included with the die set to build the floral branch and I set it aside.   For the background, I cut a piece of Neenah cardst...

 Hello, I created this card for the AECP All About Layering 3 class. Altenew products used to create this card include: Watercolor Extravaganza Stamp and Die Sets Fresh Dye Inks in: Strawberry, Dusty Pink, Blush Rose, Oak Moss, Misty Sage, Golden Honeycomb, Amber Blaze, Melted Butterscotch and Cloudy Sky Altenew Gem Sparkles in Crystal Clear Other products used: Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb. Cardstock I started by stamping the largest floral base, marked as A1 in the stamp set, with Strawberry Fresh Dye Ink. I followed the layering guide that is included with the stamp set and stamped Layer A2 with Dusty Pink Ink I continued with Layer A3 and stamped it with Blush Rose Ink. I stamped Layer A4 with Golden Honeycomb Ink Then Layer A5 with Melted Butterscotch Ink Finally, I stamped layer A6 with Amber Blaze Ink. I also stamped the largest leaves in the set with Green Opal Ink two times and another leaf cluster with Swamp Green Ink three times....

Clean and Simple Boutique Cards

Hello, today I’m sharing a Clean and Simple Boutique Card created with these products from Altenew: Fresh Bouquet Stamp Set Mix and Match Frames Die Set This simple card requires minimal supplies and can be colored with any coloring medium of your choice.  I used Copic Markers in the following colors: RV17, V05, RV55, RV52, V01 YR24, YR23, Y08, E23 BV000, BV02, BV04, BV01 YG67, YG17, YG03 G46, G43 R37, R08, R05, R22   The simple styling with the small but bright flowers as the focal point create an easy card that is sure to make anyone smile.   I started with an A2 size white cardstock panel cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.  I stamped the floral image in the center of the card with Gina K Amalgam Ink and the sentiment right above it with Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink.  I like to use a Grid Transparency from Simon Say Stamp for easy centering and alignment of stamps and sentiments.   After coloring the flowers, I used th...
