Altenew All About Layering 3 - Watercolor Extravaganza
Hello, I created this card for the AECP All About Layering 3 class.
Altenew products used to create this card include:
- Watercolor Extravaganza Stamp and Die Sets
- Fresh Dye Inks in: Strawberry, Dusty Pink, Blush Rose, Oak Moss, Misty Sage, Golden Honeycomb, Amber Blaze, Melted Butterscotch and Cloudy Sky
- Altenew Gem Sparkles in Crystal Clear
Other products used:
- Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink
- Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb. Cardstock
I started by stamping the largest floral base, marked as A1 in the stamp set, with Strawberry Fresh Dye Ink.
Finally, I stamped layer A6 with Amber Blaze Ink.
I also stamped the largest leaves in the set with Green Opal Ink two times and another leaf cluster with Swamp Green Ink three times.
I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flower and the leaves.
I trimmed a piece of white cardstock down to 3.875" x 5.125" and did some light ink blending with the Cloudy Sky Ink on a diagonal from the lower right hand corner up towards the center.
To assemble the card, I stamped the sentiment in the upper left section with Versafine Black Onyx Ink. I arranged the flower with the leaves on a diagonal so the blue is showing below the flower and leaves and fading to white above them. The floral arrangement was adhered with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. Finally, I adhered this panel to an A2 size card base with foam tape and added some Crystal Clear Gem Sparkles to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thats a very pretty card, Maria!
