Altenew February 2025 Inspiration Challenge
Hello,
Today, I'm sharing my card for Altenew's February 2025 Inspiration Challenge.
Products used to create this card:
- Itty Bitty Flowers Die Set
- Piped Waffle Die
- Pocket Sentiments Stamp and Die Sets
- Fresh Dye Ink in Pool, Mystic Lake and Mocha
- Crisp Dye Ink in Vanilla Cream and Milk Chocolate
- Choco Hazelnut Enamel Dots
Other Products:
- Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. Cardstock
- Blue-Green Cardstock
- Cream Cardstock
I die cut the petals from the Itty Bitty Flowers Die Set using Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. cardstock. I used Pool and Mystic Lake Fresh Dye Inks to add color to the petals and Vanilla Cream Crisp Dye Ink to ink up the flower centers. The branch was also die cut from Neenah cardstock and then ink blended with Mocha Fresh Dye Ink.
Once I had all of the die cut pieces cut out, I used the layering guide included with the die set to build the floral branch and I set it aside.
For the background, I cut a piece of Neenah cardstock down to 4” x 5.25”. I used the Piped
Waffle Die to cut out a piece of cream cardstock and adhered it on the left side of the white panel. Then I glued down the floral branch on an angle and trimmed off the excess from the bottom. The panel was adhered to an A2 size piece of blue-green cardstock from my stash.
The sentiment was stamped with Milk Chocolate Crisp Dye Ink and cut out with the coordinating die. I used Simon Says Stamp 3D Foam Strips to adhere the sentiment. To complete the card, I added some shine with the Altenew Choco Hazlenut Enamel Dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
