Clean and Simple Boutique Cards

Hello, today I’m sharing a Clean and Simple Boutique Card created with these products from Altenew:

  • Fresh Bouquet Stamp Set
  • Mix and Match Frames Die Set



This simple card requires minimal supplies and can be colored with any coloring medium of your choice.  I used Copic Markers in the following colors:

  • RV17, V05, RV55, RV52, V01
  • YR24, YR23, Y08, E23
  • BV000, BV02, BV04, BV01
  • YG67, YG17, YG03
  • G46, G43
  • R37, R08, R05, R22

 

The simple styling with the small but bright flowers as the focal point create an easy card that is sure to make anyone smile.





 

I started with an A2 size white cardstock panel cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.  I stamped the floral image in the center of the card with Gina K Amalgam Ink and the sentiment right above it with Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink.  I like to use a Grid Transparency from Simon Say Stamp for easy centering and alignment of stamps and sentiments.

 

After coloring the flowers, I used the Deckled Edge die from the Mix and Match Frames Die Set to cut out the panel. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with foam tape to give it a little dimension without taking away from the clean and simple look.

Altenew Celebration: Stencil Techniques - Elegant Tulips

Memory Box Cauldron Witch

  Hello!     Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween card I created with the Cauldron Witch and Fancy Gate Globe Dies from Memory Box.   To create the gate, I sprayed some Iron Gate Distress Mica Stain on a piece of black cardstock.  After it was dry I used the Fancy Gate Globe Die from Memory Box to cut it out.  Note: I used a lightweight black cardstock for the gate.  I recommend using a heavier weight cardstock so the gate won't be flimsy.   For the wall background I cut a piece of light gray cardstock down to 4.125” x 5.375”.  I used the “Small Brick Wall” stencil from My Favorite Things and ink blended some Lost Shadow Distress Ink on the gray cardstock.   I adhered the gate to the cardstock wall, about .5” up from the bottom.  I used Eclipse Masking paper to mask off the sides and I added some Black Soot Distress Ink to give the appearance of a path leading up to the gate.  I also put the stencil down again ...
