          Inspiration Challenge 2025 01 Option 1



Hello, today I’m sharing a simple floral card created with these products from Altenew:

  • ·      Wildflower Garden Stamp and Die Bundle
  • ·      Pocket Sentiments Stamp and Die Sets
  • ·      Rustic Linen Stamp Set
  • ·      Altenew Fresh Dye Inks in Dusty Pink, Golden Honeycomb, Swamp Green, Oak Moss, and Crisp Dye Inks in Vineyard Berry and Vanilla Cream

Other products:

  • ·      Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink 

I started by stamping the flowers on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. cardstock and I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.   I stamped the “hello there” sentiment with the Versafine ink and cut it out with the coordinating die.  

 

To create the background, I stamped the Rustic Linen background on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with the Vanilla Cream Ink and trimmed it down to 3.5” x 4.75”.

 

To complete the card, I adhered the Rustic Linen background to a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut down to 4” x 5.25”.  I adhered the flowers on the Rustic Linen background with Bearly Arts Glue and ZOTs Clear Adhesive Dots.   Finally, I attached the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp foam squares and added three small amber colored gems from my stash to add a little sparkle to this simple card.

Altenew Celebration: Stencil Techniques - Elegant Tulips

Memory Box Cauldron Witch

  Hello!     Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween card I created with the Cauldron Witch and Fancy Gate Globe Dies from Memory Box.   To create the gate, I sprayed some Iron Gate Distress Mica Stain on a piece of black cardstock.  After it was dry I used the Fancy Gate Globe Die from Memory Box to cut it out.  Note: I used a lightweight black cardstock for the gate.  I recommend using a heavier weight cardstock so the gate won't be flimsy.   For the wall background I cut a piece of light gray cardstock down to 4.125” x 5.375”.  I used the “Small Brick Wall” stencil from My Favorite Things and ink blended some Lost Shadow Distress Ink on the gray cardstock.   I adhered the gate to the cardstock wall, about .5” up from the bottom.  I used Eclipse Masking paper to mask off the sides and I added some Black Soot Distress Ink to give the appearance of a path leading up to the gate.  I also put the stencil down again ...
